Chiropractic

As defined by the World Health Organisation chiropractic is
“a health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuro-muskuloskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health. There is an emphasis on manual techniques, including joint adjustment and/or manipulation with a particular focus on subluxations.”

A chiropractor is an allied health practitioner registered under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. A chiropractor undertakes 5 years of university education to become qualified to practice. Dr. Carla Murdoch has completed the Bachelor of Applied Science in Complementary Medicine, Masters of Clinical Chiropractic, Diplomate in Chiropractic Neuro-Developmental Paediatrics and is certified in Webster Technique for Pregnancy.

In addition to this Dr. Carla continues to undertake ongoing education in her areas of special interest including brain development, paediatrics, pregnancy, post natal care, breastfeeding, nutrition and much more.
